1. So Nice I Purchased Twice

   Could not find a duty holster for my CZ P09 with light and RMR. Searched the internet and found Chip.
   
   The holster was well made and fit my gun like a dream. Made the tac team, and I ordered one in OD green.
   
   I have now moved on to another agency (plain clothes) where I can't carry my CZ anymore. So I am about to order another one for my new duty weapon for the few times I need retention. I ordered a Drake for the other times.
   
   Love the holster, love the company. Chip is my go to for OWB holsters!

2. Excellent craftsmanship, proper retention

   I ordered this holster for my Arex Zero 1 S pistol, which is a full size DA/SA handgun. Chip is one of the few holster makers I've seen that not only makes holsters for this firearm, but also features a Safariland SLS hood for additional security. Here's the short version of my review: Chip makes an excellent holster for my gun and you can tell he puts a lot of work into getting things correct. Read on for more details.
   
   My order arrived ~3-4 weeks after being placed and came well-wrapped with bubblewrap for shipping. As stated previously, I ordered this holster for my Arex Zero 1 S, and the gun fits perfectly into it with a satisfying click. I didn't need to play with the screws for friction retention, those had been properly set before being shipped to me. The retention hood functions as intended and is simple to use when drawing with some practice. My holster was mounted to a Blade-Tech Duty Drop and Offset plate, which also provides slots to run a thigh-strap on it. Even without a thigh-strap the holster stays firmly at my side when worn. Another benefit of the Blade-Tech drop plate is that it has additional holes drilled that allow you to cant the holster forward or backward.
   
   The kydex used to make the holster itself is tough and has been properly fitted to the gun with no gaps at the trigger-guard for something to work its way in and cause a negligent discharge. The screws and other hardware used seem to be good quality, no complains there. The edges have been sanded down smooth, which helps prevent the holster from catching on things. Overall, the holster is high quality and good craftsmanship was put into it. If I bought a new firearm (especially if it's an Arex) that I wanted a Level 2 retention holster for I would absolutely have another Harrington made for it.
